Individual Performance Classes

Our classes are based in a belief that students should be given the opportunity to learn through "giving it a go" and "putting it into practice". We do not follow any exam board structure and will not enter students into any formal accreditation scheme.

There are many fabulous schools in Edinburgh and beyond taking students through these examinations and we think that's great. We would now like to offer these students yet another opportunity. We hope our classes will complement their present training. The more experiences and opportunities for young performing arts students the better!

We have spoken to many schools in and around Edinburgh and taking into consideration everything that has been said, we feel that by offering these performance based classes we can make sure that students who already take examination classes do not have to miss out on our classes and do not have to sacrifice their present ones. They can do both if they want!

Dance Classes

Tap, Ballet and Jazz offered for students with some previous dance experience and streamlined into Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Classes. Students must audition to take part in the dance classes.

The Class descriptions..

Ballet

This class is technique based, building strength and laying a strong foundation for all styles of dance and movement. The class will be conducted to modern music

Jazz

This class is technique based, building strength and an understanding of Jazz dance, working on turns, kicks and jumps. The class covers all styles of Jazz through the learning of fortnightly routines.

Tap

Learn the moves of Fred & Ginger! This basic Tap class focuses on technique and the learning of routines ranging in style from Broadway to Street.

Musical Kidz with Lindsay

This class is all about having a good time! A Musical Theatre Jazz based class designed to set the kids on the right track to improving their coordination, concentration and confidence! And of course - fitness! This class aims to get students ready to start MGA Stage Academies and more advanced, style specific dance classes.

Musical Junior's with Lindsay

This class also is all about having a good time! A Musical Theatre Jazz based class designed to set the kids on the right track to improving their coordination, concentration and confidence! And of course - fitness!

Musical Tot's with Lindsay

Taking the very first steps in time to the music! A good giggle with a purpose. A fun Musical Theatre Jazz based class for the tots (and you parents if you want to join in).

Advanced Jazz

Certainly not for the faint hearted. Come ready to work hard, learn hard and play hard. This is a Jazz based professional class working on technique and repertoire.

If our regular academies, full-time time courses, workshops and group sessions are not for you then we will be happy to arrange private tuition at your convenience.
