About MGA Associates

MGA Associates organise individual workshops and summer schools for students training to be professional performers. Our workshops are designed to complement any full time training and enable students to meet and work with young and successful professional performers, choreographers, directors, casting directors, agents and producers.

MGA Associates aims to bring to Edinburgh the opportunities usually only associated with London based workshops"training for the profession - from the profession". All our tutors are skilled professionals - we do not deal with students, those untrained or amateurs to hold our workshops. Welcome to the professional world - Welcome to MGA Associates.

Our Aim...

MGA Associates brings together professionals in the performing arts industry to offer workshops and training opportunities to young people hoping for a future career in the industry.

We also arrange workshops and visiting teachers for third party clients, drama and performing arts schools such as the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Dance For All Theatre School, Colleges and smaller Dance and Drama groups.

We currently work with individuals and companies involved in all aspects of the industry, from leading producers, agents, managers and casting directors, to individual actors, singers and dancers, performers, directors, choreographers and theatre designers.

MGA Associates facilitates workshops and classes spanning the disciplines of Acting, Singing and Dancing all the way through to Technical and Creative Theatre Arts, giving students-in-training and graduates entering the professional world the opportunity to 'test the water'.

A driving force behind our work is the desire to bring these opportunities out of London and offer them to the rest of the UK.
