A Fierce Audition - Unexpected Opportunity

Missed the first set of Auditions? Don't want to wait until October to join the team? Yeah, ok, join the line! We have had so many requests to open the doors that we have decided to give in to the bullying! It is true - we did not mange to fill every place available at the first round of auditions as our standards are high - so heres a second chance.

Auditions will be held on Wed 2nd July from 18:00 until 21:00. To apply for an audution slot please download the application form the 'Downloads' page, complete and return to us asap. Spaces limited - first come, first served.

	MGA Associates Workshop schedule for 2008 is now online. Certain dates and venues are yet to be confirmed but have a look - it will give you a good idea as to what we have planned!

	Andrew Gowland and Murray Grant are heading down to LIPA to facilitate an audition technique workshop in "Dance and Self Presentation" to help get the schools final year 'BA' students ready for the professional world! LIPA is one of the countries most successful and well regarded training establishments for the performing arts and their related fields.
	Creative Consultant to MGA hits Eurovision 2007!
	Creative consultant to MGA Associates, Jerôme takes one step closer to completing his professional to do list! Having waited for several decades he will be hitting the stage as a supporting artist at the 2007 Eurovision Song contest representing Austria in Helsinki on 10th May - Best of luck! And look what he's been wearing to rehearsals on the 2007 set!

	Jade will be leaving a vacancy at the MGA Company when she leaves to begin her professional career at Bird College, London. One of the very few and very talented to get accepted into the leading performing arts college, Jade is assured a bright future in the profession. 	Grace Warner Holds Winter Workshop!
	Grace Warner took to the teaching stage for MGA Associates on Sunday 10th December to hold a workshop inspired by Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! Having arrived in Edinburgh with the National Tour of the show she was more than happy to take a day off from her busy schedule to hold the workshop suitable for old and young alike.
	Hairspray Hits Edinburgh!
	Tracy Geltman, Assistant Company Manager of the Broadway smash hit HAIRSPRAY! flies in from New York to talk to MGA Stage Academies Students in Edinburgh! Tracy left her office in Times Square, NYC to spend the week with MGA Directors in London and was more than happy to make a dash for Edinburgh to talk to students about life in the Big Apple and what to expect from a career in the performing arts. A great start to our first term.

	The MGA Stage Academy in Leeds is holding a free open day at the Carriageworks Theatre in Millenium Square. This is following the success of the Edinburgh open day and an attempt to give parents and children in Leeds the opportunity to find out more about our work. 	The MGA Stage Academy Open Day in Edinburgh was full to bursting! Over 54 students registered to take part in the open day designed give students and parents the chance to see what we're up to! MGA Stage Academy places for the Autumn term have become hot property!

	Aaron is currently touring the UK with the Take That - Stadium Tour.

	Emma Cannon Covers Belle
	Emma Cannon has just been offered cover to the lead role of Belle in the UK tour of Beauty and the Beast.
	Simon Adkins Get's WICKED
	Simon Adkins is currently rehearsing for the European Premier of the Broadway smash hit Wicked - the show opens in London in September.

	London Auditions Announced - Pineapple Studios
	Patrice Fernando Marques Executive Producer USA Has contacted MGA Associates in his search for new talent. He is holding auditions on Monday July 24th at 10:00 am at Pineapple Studios, London. The auditions are three different contracts: 1- Starting September 2006 for 6 months 2 - Starting January 2007 for 9 months 3 - PARIS CANCAN World Tour Contracts 1 and 2 are not Can Can shows. If you would like MGA Associates to submit you for an audition please complete the workshop registration form on the workshops page and put "24th July" in the Workshop Title spot. Priority will be given to MGA Associates members so please quote your membership number if you have one.

	Aaron Sillis is Moving Out into the West End!
	Aaron Sillis is due to start work on the West End premier of the musical Moving Out before it then embarks on a European Tour. He is an Ensemble member and understudy to the lead role.

	Murray Grant will be performing the role of Eugene in the Swiss production of Grease from April 2006.
	Simon Adkins lands Jerry Springer!
	Simon Adkins will be touring with the first National Tour of Jerry Springer the Opera covering the role of Tremont. Opening 26th January 2006 in Plymouth.

	Tim Newman Taps for the Halifax!
	Tim Newman has just starred in a Halifax television advert and has completed a workshop of a new Tap musical with Adam Garcia. He is also working with the Tap Dogs on promotional shows.

	Ashley Hale and Kate Alexander move back into the West End!
	Ashley Hale and Kate Alexander have both been offered Guys and Dolls in the West End, produced by the Donmar and directed by Michael Grandage. Their runs begin in March 2006
	Ramesh Nair, Hair and the Sophistikids!
	Ramesh Nair will be Directing and Choreographing Hair in Greifswald, Germany in summer 06. His company Sophistikids is also preparing a new show called The Frames of Greenwitch Castle.
