Dance Classes

MGA hold individual Dance Classes each Saturday morning. Our classes are based in a belief that students should learn to dance rather than learn to pass dated examinations that bare no relevence for modern performing artists.

Classes run in ten-week terms, parallel to the MGA Stage Academies regular Saturday School.  Students can register for one, two or three individual classes each week.

Ballet

This class is technique based, building strength and laying a strong foundation for all styles of dance and movement.  The class will be conducted to modern music

Jazz

This class is technique based, building strength and an understanding of Jazz dance, working on turns, kicks and jumps.  The class covers all styles of Jazz through the learning of fortnightly routines.

Tap

Learn the moves of Fred & Ginger!  This basic Tap class focuses on technique and the learning of routines ranging in style from Broadway to Street.
